I have faced a few opponents using the outperform bug, particularly OW with wisdom attacks. I have some of my creatures facing 35-40-45 damage from a wisdom attack, for crying out loud. And with the chat feature being disabled, I suspect many of them are finding the "courage" to use the bug knowing they can claim ignorance of the bug after the fact. Same goes with the aspect amplifiers. I faced a fellow who had 3 of his creatures equipped with aspect amplifiers. Annoying as h e l l.

It is annoying but you can't expect everyone to read the bug report section.I'm sure not everyone knows about the bug so you can't yell at everyone who uses the bug.But yeah I really want it fixed!

Eeep I'm glad I read this thread before I anger someone.

I just build several armies based on out preform. I was unaware that there was a bug.

Could someone enlighten me on what exactly this bug is?

Outperform is only suppose to trigger once per attack. Currently, it triggers per stat challenge - so attacks like progressive speed (with 3 challenges) deal 15 extra damage rather than 5.

from official rule book pg 47

outperform [discipline] X :

This Innate ability indicates that the Creature with this ability deals and additional X damage with successful Discipline Attacks of the indicated Discipline. Winning multiple Challenges, Stat Checks or Stat Fails on the SAME ATTACK CARD does NOT increase the additional DAMAGE. Multiple instances of this ability on a card are C u mulative.

It does not matter if u win one or three checks or one check and one challenge, if the creature has outperform [discipline] 5 then it should only do 5 more damage. I also thought it was the other way around, once i found out that a mod had confirmed that this WAS a bug i changed my deck set up. I think until this is fixed im going to just play for the rest of the week till Friday and on Wednesday. I do not think that the plp who knowing are using the bug should take any more of my ELO.

PLZ FIX THIS BUG

"Outperform will only trigger once no matter how many checks/challenges of the same type are on a card. Outperform only checks to see if the attack card is of that discipline type, it does not check for each individual check/challenge on the card.

-Dragonix"

Straight from one of the *** so I don't ever want to hear about how maybe it is working as intended. Even if they didn't come out and said it, there are still several ways for people to realize that outperform is not working as intended.

1. The text said outperform will deal 5 additional damage with each successful "attribute" ATTACK, not check or challenge, and an attack is a CARD with a name(Vine Snare, Torrent of Flame, etc...) and not when you deal damage. When you use an attack card with multiple check/challenge, you don't deal the damage separately(5, 5, 5). Instead you deal them as one after you add them all up(15).

2. +5 elemental attack ability gives +5 damage, who in there right mind would think attribute attack would not work the same way?

3. 1BP cards like Poison Sphere, Piercing Brilliance, etc... dealt 35 damage while 2BP cards like Progressive Speed, Force Strike, etc... deal 50 damage, again who in their right mind would think that is in line when 4 BP like Heptagon Mail deal 35 and 5BP like Allmageddon dealt 50 with selective creature and/or battle gear? Heck even the new 3BP rare attacks that are extremely powerful still only do max 30 damage by themselves. It just common sense that would let people know that things aren't working right.
