| Chapter 4:
Right as he was about to enter the Door to the Deepmines, a loud sound could be heard from behind him. He simply jumped out of the way so that he wouldn't get squished like a not smart quarterback with the football and six huge bulky tacklers coming at him. He saw that it was the overworlders coming through. His eyes shifted throughout the crowd in search of Arias. He spotted him and followed him in.
He started to run behind Arias. He couldn't run that fast so he jumped to grab the mugician's lyre that so happened to be on the top of the bag. His fingers touched it. He felt victory in his heart for a split second until he felt his fingers slip off. He didn't want to give up so he tried to grab it but couldn't. He lost all hope when one of his fingers got stuck in a string on the lyre and sent it flying into the air.
Wolficus jumped on top of Trimdaal and grabbed the lyre. He then retreated into the tall trees after seeing the mad look on Trimdaal's face. He jumped from tree to tree what felt like forever. He then looked at his surroundings. His foot slipped after seeing a spirit rise up by his foot and he fell towards a leafy part of the ground.
He then noticed that it wasn't ground, it was a trap! He fell through the leaves and awaited the ground to form below his eyes, but he never saw it. He found he was descending into a tunnel. Gradually, the ground started to curve below him like a slide. He slide into what looked like a secret base.
He walked a little bit in but stopped in his tracks when he saw M'arrillians. He noticed that the M'arrillians were looking at something. He took this time to sneak to the door. He was almost there so he breathed a sigh of relief that almost k i l l e d him because the M'arrillians turned around and shot everything they had at him. He managed to get in the door. He saw a key two feet away from him. He took it and locked the door to buy some time.
He walked down the rock corridor. He came upon a glistening lake. That is weird, thought Wolficus, I didn't know they had lakes underground. He saw something move in it. Something jumped above the water then came back down to the water. It was a big… no, huge fish. It was smiling right at him.
Suddenly, he heard the door the M'arrillians were behind splinter to pieces. He saw the more M'arrillians come from the other side of the corridor. He jumped into the pool and started to descend to the bottom. In a split second he remembered he couldn't swim. He moved his arms and legs in a frantic motion to get to the top. He opened his eyes to see the smiling fish and air attacks cutting through the surface of the water aimed at him before he blacked out.
