Overview
ChaoticGame.com is intended to be a safe place for Chaotic fans of all ages to enjoy Communications clearly insulting other users, individually or as a group, directly or indirectly, are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: name-calling (e.g., "you're an idiot," "you moron"); direct insults and orders (e.g., "screw you,"); insinuations (e.g., "are you stupid or something?"); or insults towards family ("your mom...").
Trolling (inciting flames)
Messages intended solely to annoy and/or offend other users by going against the clear nature of a board, topic or chat room are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: provoking other users to respond with flames; provoking fans of a particular system or game, especially on boards or topics dedicated to that system or game; making misleading topic titles; asking obviously useless questions; and posting false information as fact.
Impersonation
Impersonating other users by creating and/or using a user account with a name clearly intended to impersonate, mock, or antagonize another user, or otherwise falsely claiming to be another member is strictly prohibited.
Illegal Material
Illegal Material is NOT to be posted on this message board. This includes:
-Posting materials soliciting involvement in illegal business schemes.
-Anything dealing with hacking, cracking, phreaking, and keygens.
-Providing or linking to software viruses, trojan horses, or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
-Any pornographic/hentai related materials.
-Impersonating another person or entity of our staff and other members, including falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
-Posting or otherwise causing to appear on our board a reproduction of any of the following without permission from the creator: a work of graphic, photographic, cinematic, or literary art without proper citation of authorship or against the wishes of the author or authorized publisher. This includes direct linking or bandwidth theft.
-Any violation of privacy such as full names, residential or business address, phone numbers, social security numbers, credit card numbers, e-mail address, pictures of subject or subject's family/friends/pets/place of residence or employment/study, IP address, and any passwords.
Plot Spoilers
Posting "spoilers" (critical plot details) about games, movies, time-delayed broadcast events, or other media in the title of a topic or in a message without a clear notice is prohibited. To discuss such information in a topic, users should leave the title of the topic as vague as possible, ensuring that no mention of the actual spoiler itself is included, and include a warning (e.g., "SPOILER") in the topic title. In a message post in a non-marked or otherwise unexpected topic, users should leave several blank lines in a post after a warning before revealing any vital plot information.
Flooding
Flooding; posting repeatedly and rapidly; posting code; or posting pornographic images or text -- alone or in coordination with other users -- in an effort to disrupt the normal functioning of our Message Boards will result in a ban.
Religion
Religious topics always seem to turn into bashing wars. Since this is a game site, religious topics will be deleted. Any bashing of particular religions or non-religions will not be tolerated in signatures. If you wish to discuss religion, there are plenty of dedicated religious sites on the Internet. Don't use ours.
Bumping
There is no reason to post two or three times in a row. If you bump your topic, it will be locked/deleted. Continue to bump topics and you will be banned. Legitimate responses to your own topic, such as adding new things or making some kind of new post, are perfectly fine. (This only really applies to topics you start. You can still post multiple times in other threads. We're just trying to stop repeated posting, one after the other, to keep topics at the top of the list.)
Any violations of the rules above will be edited, deleted, or locked from future posting and viewing. All topic subjects having nothing to do with the forum in which they are posted will either be locked or deleted or most likely transferred to the forum in which they belong. Individuals involved in breaking the rules above can be banned from our Message Boards. If your messages are deemed harmful, your account, E-mail address, and IP address will be banned from entering the Message Boards again.
Please remember that the great old U.S.A. is heavily based on "Freedom of Speech" as granted by our Constitution. We support Free Speech, but we WILL remove any messages deemed inappropriate for our viewing audience. We also have the right to alter the rules as we see fit in any situation. Please respect our staff's judgment.
Finally, by posting messages on this site, you authorize TC Websites to use (and authorize others to use) your messages in whole or in part, throughout the universe in perpetuity in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, alone, or together or as part of other material of any kind or nature.
