We are very excited to have your support as a member of our Chaotic Beta Community! Your role as a Chaotic Beta tester is a very important one and we rely upon all of our Chaotic Beta participants to explore the ChaoticGame site and play the Chaotic Online Trading Card Game to help us make this a great game for our Commercial Launch. Your bug reports, feedback, and suggestions are greatly helping us perfect our Chaotic online game and we thank you very much for your dedication and on-going efforts to assist us in bringing the best Chaotic game to the (online…heh) table! 
Below you will find updated information about the end of Beta, our upcoming Zenith of the Hive Booster Set, the Chaotic: Official Game Guide from Prima Games, weekly Maintenance and Updates, plans for Non-DirectX support, Lobby Chat, enhancements to Trading, an Unlock Feature for previously traded cards, Battledromes, Tournaments, Chaotic Currency, 6v6 gameplay, League Rankings, and additional features.
Beta Has Been Extended:
We have decided to extend our Beta (beyond the previously stated April 16th date), in order to be able to support the addition of lots of really cool features and so we can be sure to create the highest quality game possible. No new end-of-Beta date has been set at this time, but we will keep you updated in the coming months!
Zenith of the Hive™:
Our next set release, Zenith of the Hive, will be available in Comic and Hobby shops starting April 9th, with a full Retail release to follow on April 16th. (Be sure to check out our Store Locator for the most up to date listing of stores!) Some distributors and retailers are taking pre-launch orders, so feel free to place your advance orders to guarantee you’ll be among the first to get the newest cards!
As soon as you purchase your Zenith of the Hive cards, you will be able to Enter The Code on ChaoticGame.com to lock them into your account, offer them for trade, and play with them using the Apprentice ruleset! Advanced online gameplay, using Mugic and fully Activated Abilities, will be introduced at a later date.
This latest Booster Set expansion, which will include Booster Packs but no new Starter Decks, is designed to enhance the gameplay of the Chaotic Trading Card game. Adding 100 new cards and new abilities such as 'Infection' and 'Disarm,' the Zenith of the Hive expansion will introduce an intriguing storyline surrounding Illexia, the terrifying Danian Queen! Keep an eye out for exciting sneak peeks and exclusive previews to come!
Prima Games - Chaotic Official Game Guide:
Prima Games has updated their release date of the upcoming Chaotic Official Game Guide to April 16th! This guide will feature detailed deck building strategies to help you smash the competition, a complete card catalog listing all stats and details of every Chaotic card in the Dawn of Perim and Zenith of the Hive sets, excerpts taken directly from our hit Chaotic cartoon, and tips from our development team to help give you the edge!
Weekly Maintenance and Updates:
We will no longer have scheduled weekly maintenance downtimes, although we will continue to provide patch notes and updates when available. With the recent addition of upgraded server technology, we are now able to update the game without the need to bring down the game servers – meaning no downtime for our game or for you…yay!
In the case of larger updates, we may sometimes need to bring the servers down for a short period. Whenever this happens, we will give plenty of advance notice so you can schedule your gameplay accordingly.

Coming Soon Section
We don’t have a timeframe to release on the following features just yet but as soon as we do, we’ll be sure to post in the Announcements and News forum! 
Non-DirectX Support:
For those of you who do not have Pixel Shader 1.1 capable Graphics Cards or computers which run DirectX, we will be offering a very basic version of our Chaotic Game client which will allow you to experience Chaotic online. Be sure to keep up with the game by continuing to collect Chaotic cards, building your Armies, and playing offline in the meantime though!
Lobby Chat:
The Lobby Chat feature will be an exciting new way to communicate with your Chaotic friends! This exciting new enhancement to the Chaotic Pad, is slated to include limited scale chatrooms moderated by Chaotic Staff and only be available at certain times of the day, the ability to add friends to your buddy list and chat with them at any time in password protected chatrooms, the ability to get information about other player’s ELO and Rankings, the ability to challenge other players directly from the Chat Lobby, and also to be able to see who is battling who.
Expanded Card Trading / Private Trades:
Trading will expand beyond simply posting cards for trade to include instant trades and the ability to trade multiple cards between two players.
In the meantime, if you want to trade only with your friends, you and your friends can do “staged” trades with each other.
--> CAUTION: Do not try this with anyone other than trusted friends.
- Example – How do I trade my Maxxor for my friend’s Chaor?:
- Tom wants to trade his Maxxor for Jane’s Chaor.
- Tom would offer a common card (like Shriek Shock) and request an ultra-rare card (like Chaor) in trade.
- Jane would accept the trade and give Tom her ultra-rare Chaor card in trade for his common Shriek Shock card.
- Next, Jane would then create her own “staged” trade for Tom to accept.
- Jane would offer a common card (like Shadow Strike) and request an ultra-rare card (like Maxxor) as trade.
- Tom would accept the trade and give Jane his own ultra-rare Maxxor card in trade for her common Shadow Strike card.
- No other players should be willing to accept a trade that is requesting for an ultra-rare card in exchange for a common card, so this should guarantee the trade between you and your friend.
Unlock Feature:
Currently, once you use a traded card in one of your Armies, it is “locked” to your Collection and you are not be able to trade it again. The coming “unlock” feature will let you unlock these “locked” cards from your Collection and then you can trade them with other players...whoohooo!
Battledromes:
Future releases will offer open gaming ladders, allowing players to compete and win cool prizes!
Tournaments:
In the coming weeks we will be announcing the offline Chaotic Organized Play program, which will include Tournaments and open battling at your local Comic and Hobby shops! Players who participate in these events will receive special Organized Play Cards….very cool!
Online Tournaments are currently being designed and developed, with details to be announced in the coming months!
Chaotic Currency:
Players will be able to earn coins by uploading cards, competing in Tournaments, and much more. Coins can be used to unlock Chaotic cards for trade, possibly obtain card enchantments, exclusive digital cards, and more!
6v6:
Just around the corner, you will be able to play online with full 6v6 Chaotic Armies. The coming implementation of 6v6 will add new strategies and challenging depth to the online game of Chaotic!
League Rankings for 1v1, 3v3, and 6v6:
With the addition of 6v6, we will be revamping the current League Ranking system to support multiple Army sizes!
Additional Features:
Future releases will also include customized Avatars, a “Player of the Week” showcase, and Community enhancements!
